Tamil Nadu Premier league is back with its ninth edition and will continue in action from 5 June 2025. With a month of nonstop cricketing action, this domestic men’s tournament is an annually hosted tournament in the land of Kerala. Featuring a total of 8 teams, the league will follow a double round robin format followed by playoffs. Inaugurated in the year 2015, the league is organised and managed by TNCA- Tamil Nadu Cricket Association.
TNPL 2025 will begin on 12 June and will then follow a busy schedule of a month till the final in July 2025. Each team will first play in the group stage and then based on the points table standings the top four teams with the most points qualify for the playoffs.

The teams on the points table are arranged as per their performance in the league stage matches. The teams’ performance on the standings would be measured as of their points, number of matches played, wins, and losses. The first four teams on the points table will qualify for the playoff stage, and then winning here the two teams will move to the final of the TNPL 2025. Chepauk has made it to the playoffs officially becoming the first team to qualify this season.
