Sunrisers Hyderabad continue their fearless cricket in IPL 2025 after dominating with their powerful batting in the 2024 season. The last season’s runners-up, SRH, led by Pat Cummins, are playing their first game of the season against Rajasthan Royals at their home. Known for their aggressive approach in batting, the team started their season with a bang, smashing RR bowlers all over the park at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag won the toss against SRH and elected to bowl first. However, SRH openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head started IPL 2025 where they left off last season. SRH smashed 94 runs in the six-over powerplay with a loss of Abhishek Sharma, who scored 24 runs off 11 balls. Travis Head is playing on 46 runs off 18 balls, and Ishan Kishan is making his mark for his new team with 24 off 10 balls.
