Rahul Sharma, a retired Indian cricketer, has created history in the ongoing International Masters League (IML T20). Playing for Indian Masters, his hat trick helped the South Africa Team at just 85 with all teams knocked down.

The Indian Masters are facing the South Africa Masters in match 7 of the ongoing tournament. The Indian team is on a two-match winning streak, whereas, on the other hand, the South African team is coming after a defeat against Sri Lanka.

Rahul Sharma’s Magical Hat Trick Dismantles South Africa

Rahul Sharma’s hat-trick came in the fifth over of the tournament, when the Indian team was looking for their first breakthrough. He delivered three magic balls, and the next we witnessed three legends get dismissed.

The hat trick folded when Rahul Sharma took over to bowl the fifth ball, as he bowled his first ball to Hashim Amla, dismissing him with a perfectly floated delivery. Following this, for the second ball, Kallis took charge on the field but soon turned to the pavilion, being out for an LBW. He then eliminated Rudolph in the consecutive delivery through the same LBW dismissal.

Rahul Sharma delivered a sensational over, completely turning the game on its head. In the fifth over, he struck three times in quick succession, dismissing the top three legends of The African Team. Rahul Sharma ended the over with one run conceded, Farhaan Behardien managed a single to long-off and recorded himself in the book of Records.

Indian Masters Dominate as Proteas Crumble for 85

After the top order dismissal and consecutive three wickets down,  Farhaan Behardien took on the strike and developed a 30-run partnership with Dane Vilas. But then he also got dismissed after scoring just 9 runs. The Proteas team was restricted to a total of just 85 runs, giving Indian Masters an easy-to-achieve edge and continued on their winning streak. It was a phenomenal day with Rahul Sharma Hat trick on the field.
