Madhya Pradesh League 2025 is a twenty twenty league similar to the Indian Premier League, but is played regionally on the domestic Level. Organised by the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association and the Gwalior District Cricket Association. After a successful completion of the first edition, the league is set to be back in action from June 12, 2025, with all matches scheduled on a single ground at Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Stadium in Shankarpur, Gwalior.
The first edition of the tournament was a success, and a total of five franchises took part in it, but coming up for the second season, this year the organizers are going big and now in place of five, a total of 7 regional franchises will battle against one another to lift the coveted trophy. The last edition of the MPL was won by Jabalpur Lions, who defeated Bhopal Leopards in the final of the series. Originally, the tournament was set to be played from 27 May, but then the league was shifted to June 12 after the IPL was suspended to avoid any clash with the biggest Indian cricket festival.
