Champions Trophy 2025 Prize Money

India is the new winner of the Champions Trophy for the 2025 edition. They claimed the new title on 9 March 2025 after defeating New Zealand by 4 wickets. It wasn’t just trophies and medals; India also won a whopping amount of  ₹20 crore ($2.24 million) as winners of the season.

Rohit’s led team will walk away with white coats, trophy medal and huge sum of money after being announced as champions. As per ICC announcement, the winner of the tournament was to be awarded with a winning amount of $2.24mn, and the runner-ups of the season will go back to their home with a cheque of $1.12mn.

Winner Prize money: India

Winning the match, India on Sunday 9 march acclaimed title and also the winning prize of the Champions Trophy 2025. The winner of the contest, i.e, India, apart from the trophy, will receive an amount of  $2.24 million (Rs. 19.45 crore). 

India, being unbeaten the whole of the tournament, has defeated the Kiwis in the final match on Dubai Ground by 4 wickets. 

Runner-ups Prize Money : New Zealand

New Zealand as the new runner-ups for the 2025 season will receive half the amount of the winners’ prize money, which is $1.12 million. Though they won’t be returning home with a trophy but has been remunerated with a Runner-up winning amount.

Semi-Finalist teams winner prize money: Australia and South Africa

Semi finalist teams of the Champions Trophy 2025 have been awarded a prize of $560,000. A total of four teams reached the semi final of the champions trophy, including Australia, South Africa, India, and New Zealand. Competing here, the winners of the semi finals, India and New Zealand, moved to the next stage of the finals, but South Africa and Australia bid farewell, with Semi-Finalist teams winning prize money of  $560,000 (Rs. 4.86 crore) each. 

Pakistan, England, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh Prize money for Champions Trophy

Teams finishing at the fifth and sixth spots have been rewarded with a prize pool of  $350,000 (Rs. 3.04 crore) each, and the teams at the bottom slot, seventh and eighth finishing teams will collect an amount of  $140,000 (Rs. 1.21 crore). Following the above prize distribution, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, after finishing at fifth and sixth, earned $350,000 (Rs. 3.04 crore), and Pakistan with England finished at the seventh and eighth position respectively, and has won an amount of $140,000 (Rs. 1.21 crore) 

For this edition of the Champions Trophy, a total of $6.9 million money prize was allocated by ICC and was increased by 53 percent from the 2017 edition.
