Michael Bracewell to lead New Zealand against Pakistan in T20I series

After a tough defeat in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final, New Zealand has announced a fresh look squad for the upcoming home series against Pakistan. Michael Bracewell, who performed amazingly well in the CT final, has been named captain of the side as Mitchell Santner and other key players are unavailable for the T20I series due to IPL commitments.

The New Zealand squad for the home T20I series features seven players from the Champions Trophy 2025 squad. However, regular T20 players like Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway, Glenn Phillips, Mitchell Santner, and Lokie Ferguson are not available due to IPL 2025.
