Albie Morkel (125m)

Albie Morkel hits the longest six in IPL history for 125 meters long, playing for Chennai Super Kings in 2008. He smashed this historical six to Deccan Chargers bowler Pragyan Ojha at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad. This six was hit in the inaugural season by Morkel, but even after 17 years, no one has been able to break the record.

Praveen Kumar (124m)

The second longest six of the IPL was hit by a medium pace bowler, Praveen Kumar, in 2013 when he was playing for Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings). He smashed a 124m six off Mumbai Indians bowler Lasith Malinga.

Adam Gilchrist (122m)

In 2011, Adam Gilchrist, the destructive wicketkeeper batter, smashed 122 meters. The left-handed batters smashed a third long six of IPL off Royal Challengers Bangalore’s bowler Charl Langeveldt while playing for Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamshala.

Chris Gayle (119m)

Chris Gayle, one of the most dangerous T20 batters in the world, is known for his massive sixes, including the longest six of the IPL in 2013. Playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore, the left-handed batter hit a 119m six off Ashok Dinda. Notably, this six comes in his iconic 175 runs innings off just 66 balls against Pune Warriors India.
