A video of his wife, Sakshi Singh Dhoni, is going viral on the internet, where he hinted that the CSK vs DC match could be Dhoni’s last game of IPL.

During the CSK vs. DC match on April 5 in Chepauk, Sakshi Singh’ Dhoni’s video went viral, where he was saying, “It’s his last match” to their daughter Ziva in the stands. There were already rumors of MD Dhoni’s retirement when fans saw his parents attending the game, which is a rare sight to watch.
However, it is yet to be confirmed whether it was his last match, as Dhoni has not made any official announcement following the 25-run loss to Delhi Capitals.
The 43-year-old has played 234 matches for CSK, scoring 4669 runs. He led the franchise to five IPL titles in 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021, and 2023. In this season, the wicketkeeper batter has scored 76 runs in four games with an average of 76.00 and a strike rate of 138.18.
