Jake Fraser-Mcgruk Madness Ahead of the IPL 2025, Smashes century off 37 Balls

After Adam Gilchrist warned Jake Fraser to start strong in the IPL 2025, Jake has presented a madness explosive batting in the net practice session of the Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2025.

(Delhi) have really backed him by keeping him on the team. He needs to get off to a good start. Usually, in the IPL 2025, teams, owners, and coaches don’t put up with poor performance for very long.

“If you have a decent beginning to a competition, it allows you the grace to get more involved in it and feel at ease, but Jake understands he will need to set the world on fire from the beginning, make sure he can have a solid competition for himself and his team, Gilchrist told Fox Cricket.

After the statement from Adam, Jake took the advice seriously and smashed a century in just 37 balls during a practice match for Delhi Capitals. The match took place at the ACA International Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

Fraser whose IPL 2024 season wasn’t the best and his stats dipped off significantly as playing in 24 innings the batter could only score 382 runs with an average of 15.91 and strike rate of 136.91.

Taking lessons from his past season and Adam Gilchrist advice, Jake was seen practicing hard in the nets and as a result he delivered a knock of 100 with just 37 balls in the second intra squad practice match. He finished at score of 106 off 39 balls, hitting 10 sixes and 9 fours.  His innings could be a great for the franchise and his form and can boost his confidence ahead of the IPL 2025 Match.

Jake was released in the mega auction but the franchise decided to continue with him and included him in the squad by using the Right to Match card spending 9 crore. 

Delhi will begin their 2025 campaign on March 24 against an opener in Visakhapatnam where they will face Lucknow Super Giants. With Axar Patel leading the charge, Delhi Capitals will aim to deliver their finest IPL campaign yet and secure the prestigious trophy.
