RCB vs DC: Will Faf du Plessis play against RCB?

DC’s assistant coach, Matthew Motts, provided an update on Faf du Plessis’s injury in the RCB vs. DC pre-match press conference, where he hinted at the availability of the South African batter for the match.

He said, “He (Faf) certainly looks like he’s moving a lot better from the naked eye without having a good look at him. So, if he is available or not, I think we can adapt, given the depth we have in our team. He’s a key player for us, but what it did show is the depth that we’ve got and the players’ ability to adapt and come in there. I thought KL [Rahul] in the last game was amazing to come in at short notice and play an inning like that to really set us up for the win.”
