Mohammad Izhar a young prodigy from Bihar has achieved a remarkable career feat. This cricketer has been selected as a net bowler for the yellow army ahead of the IPL 2025.

Set to make debut for CSK, Mohammad Izhar is on for another milestone as he would be seen bowling next to the legendary MS Dhoni in the practice sessions. The franchise has included Izhar as part of their IPL preparations, this opportunity is set to provide the bowler much-needed exposure and experience. Chennai Super Kings is set to begin the IPL 2025 journey with the first match against the arch-rivals Mumbai Indians on March 23, 2025.

Izhar’s Family Celebrates His Big Break

The Cricketer family is filled with pride and joy upon Izhar’s selection in CSK, the most successful team. Expressing her joy, Izhar’s mother Shabnam Khatun said, “We did not expect this. He faced a lot of struggles and hardships to reach here. We are really happy. He said that he will make us proud and my blessings are with him.”

His brother, Saad Aalam, shared his excitement as well, adding, “We are happy for his selection. He has struggled a lot to get here. I hope he will play for Team India soon.”

Izhar’s uncle, Mohammed Jahangir, reflected on his nephew’s determination and love for cricket, even when his family initially discouraged him. “He always wanted to play cricket. Despite us asking him not to play, he did not obey. He was chosen at the state level for Bihar in 2019-2020, and from then he kept progressing. He studied and played cricket. We hope he plays international cricket for India and makes us proud,” he said.

This isn’t the end of celebrations and greetings for the player, even the Bihar Minister Neeraj Kumar Bablu also congratulated Izhar, saying, “I congratulate Izhar for making the district and the state proud. We hope he will keep playing like this in the future and move forward. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi encourages players so much that they keep playing with all their passion and dedication. We will felicitate him when he returns.”
