Earlier known as the name of Saurashtra Premier League, the league has been renamed for its 4th edition. The league is a celebration of regional cricket where five different regional franchises take on each other in the T20 Cricket format. Launched in 2019, the league has quickly gained popularity for promoting local talents and providing them a platform for the major cricket tournaments.
Featuring a round robin format followed by a final, the SPL consists of five including Zalawad Strikers, Kings Halar, Sorath Lions, Kutch Riders, and Gohilwad Titans. The team first gets into the league stage, and then, based on the points table ranking, the top two teams will get into the final for lifting the ultimate title of the season. The latest edition of the league took place in the year 2023, and this is the fourth edition. This regional Twenty-Twenty league is scheduled to be run from June 7, following a schedule of almost half a month, the league will finally conclude on June 20 with a winner.
Sanctioned by the Board of Control for Cricket in India, the Saurashtra Pro T20 League will feature a total of 5 teams that will lock horns against each other to lift the title. The venue for the Saurashtra Pro T20 League 2025 season 4 is Niranjan Shah Stadium, Rajkot. All matches will be played on the same ground.
