After a quiet start to the IPL 2025, Jaiswal finally found his rhythm in the Match 19 against Punjab and brought a well compiled Half-century. The opener scored fifty with40 balls and built a stable innings for the team with calculated boundaries and smart rotation of strike. He earlier built a partnership with Samson but after his dismissal, Jaiswal had to play slow and build the rhythm with new batter, Riyan Parag on the other hand.
Bringing his first fifty of this IPL season, Jaiswal announced himself in the season. He reached the milestone in the 12th over to a delivery against Chahal. Yuzvendra bowled a delivery around the off-stump, and Jaiswal, without hesitating, stepped into the shot and hammered it straight down the ground to long off.
Struggling to form this IPL, Yashasvi had a tough season so far. he managed a single run against SRH in the opener, followed by 5 runs against GT, 29 against KKR, and just 4 against CSK. But today was his day, and he announced his return to form.
