It needed a special effort to dismiss the dangerous-looking RCB captain Rajat Patidar, and that’s exactly what happened. On the last ball of Trent Boult’s final over (19th over), Patidar tried to scoop the ball but mistimed it. The ball went high in the air, and Ryan Rickelton ran back and took a stunning diving catch to dismiss Patidar for 62 off 32 balls. Boult picked up his second wicket.
Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 20th game of the IPL 2025 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Hardik announced the return of Jasprit Bumrah and Rohit Sharma, while RCB went with the same squad.

However, MI’s find of this year, Vignesh Puthur, gets Padikkal on 37 runs off 22 balls, and Hardik Pandya removes Virat Kohli on 67 runs off 42 balls and Liam Livingstone on a 2-ball duck in the same over to bring MI back into the game.
