Rohit has been awarded the special award for his presence in every IPL Season since the inaugural season in 2008.
Why was Rohit awarded?
Rohit Sharma, the star batter of the Mumbai Indians, received a special memento at the Wankhede Stadium ahead of the MI vs SRH clash. The memento was presented to him for completing his 18 years with the richest cash league. Rohit Sharma has been associated with the league since its inception, and he is the only player, alongside Virat Kohli, Manish Pandey, and MS Dhoni, to feature in all seasons of the IPL.
