Chasing a score of 215, LSG was struggling after their top order crumbled down, and they were left just with their bowlers in the last overs of the LSG innings. And then something unbelievable unfolded on the field, Ravi Bishnoi facing Bumrah in the 18th over, hit an air delivery with a six on long on. Everyone on the field was amused by the shot, but it was kind of a once-in-a-lifetime moment for the bowler.
Winning the toss, LSG invited MI to bat first and opted to field against the home team at the Wankhede stadium. Batting first Mumbai Indians posted a score of 209 on the board and then invited LSG to chase.

Chasing the target, Lucknow Super Giants’ top order gave a fiery start, but then, Mumbai Indians’ bowling attack soon dismissed them. After the early wickets, the middle order of LSG also struggled and were sent back to the dugout quickly. Jasprit Bumrah delivered a magical performance for his team, dismissing three players in the 15th over. Then, going for a hat-trick in the 18th over, he bowled to Ravi Bishnoi, who had not scored many runs earlier. However, just before the innings moved to the 19th over, Ravi Bishnoi smashed a long six on long-on. He then celebrated the excitement of the shot by pumping his fist as he watched the ball soar into the stands.
