This was the fastest team fifty in the IPL 2025, which came in just three overs thanks to the madness of Salt at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Mitchell Starc’s first over went for just 7 runs, but when he came back for his second over, Phil Salt was ready and started the over with a six over the bowler’s head. Then he smashes back-to-back boundaries on the next two balls to put the pressure on the pacer. Starc overstepped on the fourth delivery, which also went for another boundary. On the free hit, the Englishman swiped at the ball, and it went for six off a top edge. He took a leg-bye single on the fifth ball, and the last ball of the over also went for a leg-bye boundary. The over was ended with 30 runs.
Axar Patel, captain of the Delhi Capitals, won the toss and elected to bowl against Royal Challengers Bangalore at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Faf du Plessis comes back in place of Sameer Rizvi, and RCB goes unchanged.
