Mitchell Marsh who is the leading opener from the Lucknow Super Giant has gone into complete havoc in the ongoing Indian Premier league. The Australian player wasted no time and smashed a much needed fifty in just 21 balls against the Delhi Capitals in the Match 4 of the IPL 2025.
Playing at the ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium, DC winning the toss opted to bowl first leading the LSG to open the field with its key batters Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh. Hitting monstrous sixes and boundaries Marsh turned DC bowler’s night into a nightmare.

Starting solid for LSG, Mitchell brought his attack on the field and smashed boundaries and sixes continuing with punishing bowlers with his fiery batting form. Mitchell faced his home team friend Mitchell Starc in his first over and announced his arrival in style with a six-over square leg traveling a distance of 70 meters.
Continuing his attack, Marsh ended up hitting fifty in just 21 balls where he smashed a total of six sixes and six fours for the team before he departed at 72 against Mukesh Kumar.
