Facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the last league stage match of the Indian Premier League 2025, LSG Skipper Rishabh Pant bounced back in style after having a sluggish season this year. Winning the toss, the visitors invited the home team to bat first and opted to bowl first.
LSG opened with a new combination today, Matthew Breetzke replaced Aiden Markram and opened with Mitchell Mars,h while on the bowling end, N Thushara opened the bowling attack for RCB. Batting first, Rishabh did make a change in the batting order and upgraded himself to number third. Coming after the dismissal of Breetzke, Rishabh took on the field in the 3rd over and then took control of the shaky start of the team. He looked confident from the start and reached his half-century in just 29 balls.
