Mumbai Indians are set to host visitors Lucknow Super Giants at their own home ground, Wankhede Stadium, on April 27 Sunday afternoon. Just past the halfway stage of the ongoing IPL 2025, Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants find themselves at the same junction. Both teams are in the middle of the points table with five wins each from nine games.
Adding a special touch to the encounter, the match will be dedicated to the ‘’Education and Sports for All’ (ESA) initiative by Nita Ambani. Where the teams will battle on the field, the day will also highlight the importance of education and sports, empowering young lives.

MI which started slow this season, losing four of their first five games seem to have finally found the rhythm with four successive wins. On the other hand, Lucknow who started with a win is still looking for consistent innings. They have faced two defeats in their last three games and have won three in a row after the opener loss.
