RCB vs SRH 2025

BCCI has announced the venues for the upcoming IPL 2025 Playoffs on Monday and along with this has also announced the shifting of Match 65 between RCB and SRH. The match which was earlier scheduled on the ground of M. Chinnaswamy has now been shifted to Ekana Cricket stadium keeping in mind the weather conditions of Bengaluru.

There has been constant heavy rains in Bengaluru which have flooded the capital city. With predictable weather conditions during the rainy season, and the last match being washed out, the BCCI has decided to shift the venue from there to Lucknow.

“The TATA IPL Match No. 65 between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has been relocated to the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, due to unfavourable weather conditions in Bengaluru.”BCCI said on Monday.

The RCB vs SRH match on May 23 has been moved from Bengaluru to Lucknow due to heavy rains and a yellow alert. RCB hasn’t been able to practice since their last match was washed out, and the venue change means their fans will miss out on a home game, with the team’s final two league matches now set to be played at the Ekana Stadium.

RCB has been informed about the venue change decision and now will fly to Lucknow to face the Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 23. Earlier, Hyderabad was scheduled to visit the Bengaluru home pitch after they defeated LSG in their last encounter. But now, with the change in venue, the franchise will stay back in Lucknow and will face RCB at the Ekana Stadium
