The list of the 7 March, 2025 ICC Men’s Player of the Month nominees have been revealed and No Rohit, No Kohli has made it to the list of nominations despite their performances in the Champions Trophy 2025. Yet the younger player, also The Prince of ODI Format, Shubman Gill has been called out as nominee of the 7 March, 2025 ICC Men’s Player of the Month.

Shubaman has been nominated from Men In Blue side and along with him, Steve Smith from Australia and Glenn Phillip from the New Zealand side has been nominated. No one besides Gill has made it to the list in both Men and Women’s Category. 

February ICC Men’s Player of the Month nominees

Shubman Gill (India)

Gill has been nominated for the month of February as he has compiled a total of 406 runs with an average of 101.50 and strike rate of 94.19 in his Five ODIs.

Playing a total of five ODIs, Gill has showcased great innings against England in their three-match series, with 87 in Nagpur, 60 in Cuttack, and 112 in Ahmedabad. Along with this, he has been a player of the series.

He also has an unbeaten record of Giant 101 against Bangladesh, followed by 46 against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy. 

Steve Smith (Australia)

After announcing Retirement from the ODIs, Steve Smith has been nominated for the ICC Player of the Month. He has impressive on field performances, where he has scored a total of 272 runs with an strike rate of 136 during Test series against Sri Lanka. He was also awarded as player of the series for the same. Moving into the Champions Trophy from here, he has shown his experience on the field.

Glenn Phillips (New Zealand)

The third player who has been nominated for the player of the month is Black Caps player Glenn Phillps, also the glue man. With a strike rate of 124.21, he scored a total of 236 runs in five-day ODI.

He delivered three unbeaten knocks for the teams, with 106 against Pakistan in Lahore, 28 against South Africa at the same venue, and then 20 against Pakistan in Karachi in the final. Carrying the momentum to the Champions Trophy, he started with 61 against Pakistan and then moved with unbeaten 21 against Bangladesh in the Rawalpindi
