Fans explode on Twitter as Rishabh Pant brings on another flop show

Lucknow Super Giants, who are currently at the Ekana Stadium trying to build a good, impressive score on the board. The team started with a shaky start and lost its main batting order in the powerplay with early dismissals of Mitchell Marsh, Aiden Markram, and the skipper, Rishabh Pant. All was going well until Pant got dismissed for another slow innings. Coming at number four, Rishabh walked back with just 2 runs in Match 13 against the Punjab Kings.

The dismissal of the captain soon flooded the twitter with his fans showing their disappointment in the batter for his slow innings for the IPL 2025. Some trolled him for his slow innings while some trolled him for being the costliest player.

Fans not happy with the new LSG Skipper

Coming at the number 4 after early dismissals of the top batting order of Lucknow Super Giants, Rishabh walked on crease. Hoping for a good respectable innings fans were looking for their captain to finally show up and play as the man of the team but soon all hopes were shattered as Rishabh didn’t stay longer and went back to pavilion with just two runs in his name.

Pant’s dismissal was a result of a mistimed shot on a relatively easy delivery from Glenn Maxwell. Maxwell bowled a length delivery down the leg side, a ball that Pant could have easily hit in any direction, but he mistimed it for his own wickets. He mistimed the shot with a weak connection, which went straight to Yuzvendra Chahal at short fine leg . The dismissal not only added to poor innings in Skipper’s name but also hurt fans’ sentiment, who took no time and showed their disappointment in him on Twitter.
