DC vs LSG: Nicholas Pooran Joins the Elite list of Players with 600 T20 Sixes 

Pooran became the fourth batter in the world to hit 600 or more sixes in T20s.

Nicholas Pooran playing against Delhi Capitals at ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium secured his place in the elite 600 T20 sixes club with a towering shot off Vipraj Nigam’s delivery in the 7th over. He joined legends Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, and Andre Russell, becoming the fourth player to achieve this remarkable milestone in T20 history. Hitting destructive sixes against Tristian Stubbs, Nicholas Pooran Continued his record for sixes.

During the IPL 2025 match between LSG and Delhi Capitals, which is currently underway at Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, Nicholas played a fiery knock for the Lucknow Super Giants and destroyed the Delhi Capitals bowling order.

Cricket Has seen many destructive batters but when it comes to sheer power, Nicholas Pooran stands in the league of winners. During the IPL match 4 clash between DC and LSG, Nicholas put on a thrilling display of batting where he hit back to back four sixes in the 13th over against Tristan Stubbs. 

With these towering air boundaries, he not only scored runs for his IPL franchise but also recorded another record in his favor. He joined the league of players with 600 plus T20 sixes and became the fourth player to have the record in his name after legends Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, and Andre Russell.

Coming against Delhi, Pooran needed a single six to join the list and he achieved this fate against Vipraj Nigam in the seventh over of the LSGs innings.

Pooran, who was retained for Rs 21 crore by the Lucknow-based franchise ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auctions, came out to bat at No. 3 for LSG on Monday in Vizag, and scored a total of 75 runs off 30 balls before getting dismissed against a delivery by Mitchell Starc in the 15th over.
