After the successful completion of the first season, WCL is coming back for its second season and marks an important chapter in international T20 Cricket. Scheduled to start from July 18 the Twenty 20 competition will follow a round robin format with league stage and knockout format, where a total of 6 teams will compete for the ultimate crown. Planned over a month of cricketing schedule, the teams will follow a 32-match schedule where first they will face each other in the league stage and then based on the points table standing will move to the playoffs of the 2nd edition. The final of the series is scheduled for August, where after almost a month’s battle two finalist will fight for the ultimate champions of the 2nd edition.

WCL 2025 Venue
The WCL 2025 is going to be majorly played on the grounds of the Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham but besides this the league will also be played across the different grounds of England, including Grace Road, Leicestershire, Headingley, Leeds, and the North County Ground, Northampton. But the knockout matches of the WCL 2025 season are scheduled on the Edgbaston, Birmingham ground.
