The Kerala T20 League auction was nothing short of electrifying, as franchises battled it out to secure the best and finest talents ahead of the upcoming season. From seasoned stars to emerging young local players, KLC Auction has it all, and all players went under the auction hammer at intense prices reflecting the team’s hunger to build a rounder, stronger, and balanced squad.
This year’s auction saw some record-breaking deals and smart bargaining buys, making it one of the most talked-about events of domestic cricket. Scheduled to start on August 21 and run until September 6, all franchises looked determined to build their squad to the most powerful and several players became the center of attention. Indian Wicketkeeper batter Sanju Samson turned heads by becoming the most expensive player in KCL history. He was picked up by Kochi Blue Tigers for a whopping amount of 26.8 lakhs and with his signing the league and the franchise both are expecting big crowds and massive interest in the league from fans.

The biggest news from the auction was Sanju Samson’s signing. The IPL Star from Rajasthan Royals was picked up by Kochi Blue Tigers for 26.8 Lakhs, making him the most expensive player in the KCL history. Along with him, All rounders, Jalaj Saxena and Vishnu Vinod also attracted big bids for the Season.
