The match 10 of the champions trophy between Australia and Afghanistan has been called off due to rain. After the match was abandoned, Australia qualified for the Semi-Finals directly. Playing first, Afghanistan posted a total of 274 runs for the Aussies. Following this in the second innings, the first match was delayed due to rain and soon resumed, where Rashid Khan missed the catch of Travis Head, who later blitzed with a half-century.
The match ended with a no result, as during the chase, rain started leaving the ground wet. Following this, Australia ultimately qualified for the Semi-Finals.
Champions Trophy 2025 Semi Final Teams
The tournament is now heading to its final stage, with the group stage wrapping up. A total of eight teams participated in the tournament and were divided into two groups. Group A had its clear semi-finalist with India and New Zealand winning two of their three matches. The hosts Pakistan and Bangladesh were knocked out from the semi-final from Group A.
From Group B, Australia and South Africa have now qualified for the semi-finals. England is already out, and Afghanistan is also out of the race due to the no-result match against Australia.

The Semi-finals for the champions trophy are scheduled for March 4 and March 5. The first Semi-Final match will be played between India and a team at B1 spot on the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. New Zealand and the B1 team will play the second semi-final match at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
