Arshdeep Singh confirms PBKS vs DC Clash will be replayed in Full at new venue

The match between Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals was postponed amidst the increasing Border tensions between India and Pakistan. With the IPL 2025 set to begin later this week, from May 16 and 17, Punjab Kings pacer Arshdeep Singh has cleared the air around the suspended match between Punjab and Delhi. He informed that the match will be played from the first ball and will be replayed in full, and will not begin from where it was suspended. He also said the venue would be different and would not be played on the HPCA ground, the original ground where it was scheduled earlier.

IPL 2025 will resume with PBKS vs DC match 

In a Snapchat video posted by the Punjab Kings bowler Arshdeep Singh, he revealed that the match will begin from ball one and will not start from where it was suspended. He was seen talking in Punjabi and also provided an update on the future of the game. Arshdeep was seen saying, “The venue has somewhere else. The match will start from the start,” he said. He further added,  “Hopefully, we will be at 120 in 10 (122/1 in 10.1). We had lost 1 wicket; this time we won’t lose even 1 wicket.”

Talking about the game, Singh revealed that the game will begin from ball 1 and will not continue from where it was left. The details around the venue and new date are yet to be announced.

Earlier, the fixture was set on the HPCA ground in Dharamshala, but was suspended mid-way in the PBKS innings when Punjab was playing at 122/1. However, with the ceasefire being announced, BCCI is looking to resume the matches soon and is likely to announce the new schedule by the end of May 12.

Earlier, reports suggested that the PBKS vs DC match was suspended and each team would share one point each. But with new development the match will begin shortly and will be the first match to be played after IPL 2025 Resumes. However, there is still some uncertainty regarding the final decision.
