He hit 12 fours and 7 sixes and helped India score 234/4 in 20 overs, and then later bowled out New Zealand for 66, leading India to a dominant 168-run win.

2. 77 vs West Indies

Playing against the Indies on their home land, Gill smashed his second-highest score of his T20 career, partnering it with Yashasvi Jaiswal. Batting first Indies posted 178 runs with 2 wickets in hand. Coming on the chase, Jaiswal and Gill formed an incredible partnership and helped India win the match by 9 wickets with 18 balls remaining and 9 wickets in hand.
