During his visit, he will be part of a special event where he can play a friendly seven-a-side cricket match with some of the most well-known Indian cricketers, including the likes of MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Sachin Tendulkar.

The match is scheduled to take place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai in December. A top event agency has approached the Mumbai Cricket Association(MCA) to reserve the stadium for the event. According to the reports, the match will be part of Messi’s promotional tour in India, which will also take him to Kolkata and New Delhi between December 13 and 15.

In Kolkata, he is expected to be honored at Eden Gardens and may launch a football clinic and later attend a football workshop for Children.
