Facing the Lucknow Super Giants today at their home turf for the IPL season in Dharamsala, Punjab Kings’ Shashank stunned everyone with his explosive knock that helped the team to put a mammoth score on the board. Against Mayank Yadav, Shashank Singh wasted no time, making an immediate impact by hitting a massive six that sailed straight out of the ground.

Batting first, Punjab Kings, Priyansh and Prabhsimran Singh took on the crease and tried to build momentum, but Priyansh was shortly sent to the dugout, while Singh continued to build and lead the team single-handedly first and later was supported by Josh Inglish and Shreyas Iyer. Singh stood strong and smashed a blistering 91 off 48, helping the team to get to 236.

Watch the reaction here:

The Ohhhh Wow! moment unfolded in the 17th over when Mayank Yadav bowled to Shashank. He bowled a short delivery to Singh, and he took full advantage, smashing the ball over deep backward square-leg. The ball was hit so hard that it flew out of the ground, hitting the roof before going over the ground. The moment was so electrifying that not just fans, but Bollywood Actress Preity Zinta, who was present in the stands, couldn’t hold her excitement and ended up with a WOOW! moment in amazement.
