Playing against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy, Kohli completed this milestone. Virat Kohli ODI Runs are now 14000 plus and now he is placed at the second spot in the Highest ODI run scorer for India.

Playing his 299th match, Kohli has now surpassed the milestone and joined the Master Blaster Sachin. Becoming the second Indian player to gain this, Virat is now moving to another milestone.

Making his debut for Men In Blue, Kohli started his first match in 2008 and till then has appeared in 299 matches. Scoring a total of 14049 and counting, Kohli became the third batter to score 14000 in ODIs after Sachin Tendulkar who reached this in 350 innings, and Kumar Sangakkara who made this in 378 innings. King Kohli finished this in fewer than 63 innings than Sachin.

Earlier than this record, he broke Tendulkar’s milestone during the 2023 ODI World Cup surpassing the record for the most centuries in ODIs (50) and now has the most. He also holds the record for being the fastest player to reach 8,000, 9,000, 10,000, 11,000, 12,000, and 13,000 runs in the 50-over format.
