Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma have officially separated after a final court ruling in Mumbai on Thursday. Chahal’s lawyer, Advocate Nitin Kumar Gupta, confirms the divorce to ANI, saying, “The court has granted the decree of divorce. The court has accepted the joint petition of both parties. The parties are no longer husband and wife.”
Chahal flaunts the “Be Your Own Sugar Daddy” t-shirt on the day of divorce
On the final day of the divorce hearing, Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma arrived separately at the Bombay High Court in Mumbai. After the court granted divorce to the couple, Chahal was spotted wearing “a Be Your Own Sugar Daddy” t-shirt. According to the reports, the cricketer will pay INR 4.75 crore in alimony to Dhanashree Verma.

Yuzvendra and Dhanashree got married in 2020. The couple was so famous on social media for their wholesome and funny reels together. Dhanashree was also often seen in the stadium supporting Chahal during the IPL and India matches. The couple reportedly filed for divorce in 2024 and on 20 March 2025, they officially ended their marriage via divorce.
