The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 has entered its last stage, where just three league matches are left. The two runner-up Delhi Capitals have already qualified for the playoffs, securing 10 points in eight matches, while Deepti Sharma’s UP Warriors are now out of the final three race after losing five out of seven matches. Now Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Gujarat Giants are fighting for the last two spots in the playoffs.

Led by Meg Lanning, Delhi Capitals has played all their eight matches and won five out of them, securing a total of 10 points; the team has qualified for the playoffs. On the other hand, UP Warriors have still one match left in this season, but they are already out of the qualification race after losing five games.

Mumbai Indians need to win just one match out of their remaining two games to qualify for the playoffs without depending on other team results. They will play their next two matches against Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Gujarat Giants also need to win their last match against Mumbai Indians to qualify for the playoffs without depending on the other games’ outcomes. They are currently standing at 2nd place in the table with four wins in seven matches.
The defending champions, Royal Challengers Bangalore, have a very tough road to the playoffs from here. They are currently standing at 4th in the table with a total of four points in six matches. Means they can only reach up to eight points by winning their remaining two league matches.
To qualify for the playoffs, RCB must win their remaining two games against UP Warriorz and Mumbai Indians. Additionally, they need Mumbai Indians to defeat Gujarat Giants and ensure their net run rate stays above GG’s to secure a spot in the WPL 2025 playoffs.
